As we prepare to launch the Access Controller for the accessibility community on December 6, today we’re excited to share more details about developing the controller, including the first-ever reveal of accessibility packaging. Get an inside look at the development process of Access Controller and get a sneak peek at its accessibility packaging design

Since development began five years ago, we have continued to refine the Access Controller design through six design concepts and prototypes, as well as countless insightful discussions with accessibility experts and testers in the community. Our goal was to create an innovative design that could adapt to the needs of a variety of players.

For us, accessibility starts the moment you unbox a product. The Access controller’s packaging has a design that can be opened with one hand, providing a convenient loop buckle that can be pulled out from the left or right side. There are also additional loop designs inside to help you easily open the box and slide out the controller. Slots are provided inside, allowing users to organize various set components (including 19 interchangeable button caps and 3 lever caps) on a single level for easy identification and access.

Today, we are also very excited to introduce the Logitech G Adaptive Gaming Kit* for Access controllers, an official accessory set developed by Logitech in collaboration with our SIE team and the accessibility community.
