Starfield: released September 6, 2023

This is surely the biggest expectation of fans of the Bethesda studio. Starfield is an RPG (role-playing game) worthy of the greatest Space Opera. Announced during E3 2018, it is now within reach of players. The objective is simple if we are to believe Bethesda: “Create the character you want and explore with unparalleled freedom on an epic adventure to answer humanity’s greatest mystery”. Head to the 2330s and see how humanity has expanded beyond the solar system. Your quest will be quite “simple”: answering the biggest question in the history of humanity. You will have between 30 and 40 hours of gameplay to complete the main story. As it’s Bethesda, we’re betting on a minimum of 200 hours to complete the rest… The game will be available at the price of €69.99 on PC and €79.99 on Xbox Series X/S.

EA Sports FC 24: released September 29, 2023

Football fans don’t have to worry. Despite the affair between Electronic Arts and FIFA, the game, a direct sequel to FIFA, will be released this year! Quite similar to previous opuses, the title will offer much more advanced technology than FIFA 23 with HyperMotionV which will be available on PS5, Xbox Series and PC. You will also be able to take advantage of some new features such as the arrival of crossplay in pro clubs or the possibility of creating mixed teams in Ultimate Team mode! Women’s football will therefore be in the spotlight again this year. However, it is possible that due to the end of the partnership with the football body, certain teams, competitions and brands will no longer be present in the game under their original name. Early access will be offered from September 22, 2023, with a release scheduled for September 29, 2023 and will be sold for €79.99 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch and PC.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage: release scheduled for October 12, 2023

Does a return to basics tempt you? This is what Ubisoft plans in this new iteration of its successful franchise: Assassin’s Creed. While the studio refocuses its resources on the next installments of the saga, Mirage is positioning itself as the first stone of this new chapter. 13th game in the franchise, it is an action, adventure and infiltration game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux (cocorico). Immerse yourself in one of the largest and most dynamic cities of the medieval era: Baghdad. You will play Bassim Ibn Ishaq, a name that should not leave Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players indifferent. Indeed, the character was introduced during the last DLC of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. You will have to follow the adventures of a thief joining the Brotherhood of Assassins. So don’t expect an open world like Odyssey or Origins, but a return to parkour and discreet assassinations. The game will be available on October 12, 2023 at €49.99 for pre-order. It will be deployed on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: release scheduled for October 20, 2023

Insomniac Games couldn’t miss the boat. Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment and exclusive to the Playstation 5, the game will be the sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales released in 2020. In this third-person single-player game, you will be able to control Peter Parker or Miles Morales while they are trying to fight crime in New York City. The Big Apple will indeed be an open world. You will have the opportunity to acquire new abilities as well as new Spider-Man costumes. Among the classic characters of the Marvel universe, we notably find Venom, surely one of the great antagonists of the game. For fans of Marvel and superheroes in general, you will have to wait until October 20 to be able to get your hands on the game. This will be available exclusively on Playstation 5 at the price of €79.99.

Super Mario Bros Wonder: release scheduled for October 20, 2023

What would back-to-school be without a Nintendo game? Better, without a Mario game! This platform game should conquer young and old alike. If we don’t yet know the details of the game, we know that it will allow players to play as Mario, his brother Luigi, Yellow Toad, Yoshi (who will be available in several colors), Peach and Daisy. The game should offer fairly classic gameplay with horizontal scrolling as we are used to. The characters will also be able to transform depending on the different items you find during the game. The game will obviously be available on the Nintendo Switch for the price of €59.99.
