Redemy has published the times when players can officially start playing.

One week before the release date of Alan Wake 2 the developer has Remedy Entertainment announced the exact times when the expected survival horror sequel can be played. It’s no secret that fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of Alan Wake 2, as it arrives more than a decade after its cult hit predecessor.

The original title Alan Wake has delighted gamers with its captivating Stephen King-esque story and cinematic action-adventure gameplay. Alan Wake 2 will be entirely dedicated to survival horror and will hopefully retain the elements of the first game that made it so special. Initial reports from players who have already tested the game are positive and are increasing fans’ anticipation for the series’ return after 13 years. Now players want to know when they can experience the game for themselves.

Remedy Entertainment has released a graphic on social media showing the exact worldwide showtimes for Alan Wake 2. Now players know when they can play one of the most anticipated games of the fall. The graphics are designed in the classic Alan Wake style, like a bulletin board with pins and strings connecting different locations. While Los Angeles can start at 9 p.m. on October 26th, we in Germany have to wait until 6 a.m. on October 27th.

Alan Wake fans are hoping that the series finally gets the recognition it deserves after the debut of the first game with the release of Red Dead Redemption was overshadowed. Still, the thriller received some recognition, winning multiple “Game of the Year” awards and becoming a cult classic.

The preview for Alan Wake 2 also promises a lot, and the 13-year break has given Remedy the opportunity to gain some additional fans thanks to a spin-off and a remaster that, while it didn’t sell as well as hoped. However, the sequel seems to finally be finding its footing when it launches in time for Halloween.

Alan Wake 2 will be released on October 27th for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S.
