Game Releases for the Week of 10/15

We have definitely reached the week with the most important releases of the year, both for PC and consoles. And it is even difficult to separate the main highlight, however, it remains Spider-Man 2which is one of the most anticipated games of 2023. The new superhero adventure, exclusive to the PS5, promises improvements in gameplay and the presence of striking characters.

The week will also feature a new game from the two most popular franchises in the gaming world: Mario Bros. e Sonic. On the Nintendo side we have the launch of Super Mario Bros. Wonder, which will take the franchise back to 2D games, after more than 10 years without a new game of this type. Already Sonic Superstars will also return to its origins, with a platform game for up to four players in the same game.

For simulator lovers, the week will bring Alaskan Road Truckerswhich puts players in control of delivery trucks in the middle of Alaska, and AirportSim, which simulates day-to-day life at an airport. Finally, we also have the arrival of Endless Dungeon, SEGA’s long-awaited roguelike that will finally be released after some small delays. Check out the complete list and respective prices.

1. Sonic Superstars – October 16

The new game in the franchise promises to mix innovative elements with a good pinch of nostalgia. Starting with the return of 2D gameplay, which was forgotten in the last new titles. Furthermore, the game will have a Cooperative Mode so that up to four players can participate in the same match in real time.

Em Sonic Superstars, you need to venture across the mystical islands of Northstar to stop Dr. Eggman, Fang and a new adversary from converting the giant animals that reside there into cruel robots. To do this, choose between Sonic, Tails, Knuckles and Amy Rose to defend the region from fearsome villains. The game is already on pre-sale for prices starting at R$279.00.

2. Alaskan Road Truckers – October 18

For lovers of truck games, the week has a long-awaited title in store. Alaskan Road Truckers, as the name suggests, puts players in control of trucks that need to complete missions on the complicated roads of Alaska. These in turn have an extremely cold climate, which means that routes have frozen asphalt or are completely covered in snow.

If that wasn’t enough, the game will also have a survival element. To do this, you will need to stay fed and, above all, warm to survive the extremes of the region. On the other hand, the game offers a real Alaskan setting, whether it’s its incredible landscapes or even the local fauna and flora. The game does not yet have a defined value.

3. Endless Dungeon – October 19

Endless Dungeon is a roguelike game with strategy elements and a good dose of tower defense. In it, you need to defend an abandoned space station, full of mysteries, against waves of enemies who want to take possession of a highly powerful crystal. To do this, you must choose between four heroes, each with different skills, to face the fearsome creatures.

The game went through a beta period for PC, where it was possible to collect player feedback and make improvements. So much so that its official launch was postponed, and is only arriving this week for consoles and Windows. Endless Dungeon It is already on pre-sale with prices starting at R$ 159.90.

4. AirportSim – October 19

Se Microsoft Flight Simulator took the realism of flying planes to another level, AirportSim promises to be a reference in simulating a complete airport. This is because the game comes with a bold proposal to manage all day-to-day routines, from organizing flights to taking care of site maintenance, to prevent fatal accidents.

You will have to go out of your way to organize the landing and takeoff runway, maintain the aircraft, organize the luggage, and even provide guidance to the pilots in the aircraft. The game does not yet have a defined price, but it has a demo version available for free for PC and consoles.

5. Spider-Man 2 – October 20

One of Sony’s most iconic exclusive games will get a sequel this week. Spider-Man 2 continues the adventures of the friendly neighborhood friend, in a story that follows the events of the last game and its DLC, where Peter Parker and Miles Morales need to live with grief after losing Jefferson Davis, May and Ben Parker. To top it off, new villains arrive in the city, including the famous extraterrestrial symbiote that gives life to Venom.

This, in turn, will also be present in the game, as well as Kraven and Dr. Connors in their Lizard form, and other villains not yet revealed. However, great expectations remain for controlling Spider-Man with his black outfit, which is precisely the result of a combination with the symbiote. It will give the character a series of extremely strong skills, as well as unique movements that only play to be discovered. The game is now on pre-sale starting at R$349.90.

6. Super Mario Bros. Wonder – October 20

The most famous mustachioed man in the gaming world is back with a new game. Super Mario Bros. Wonder will bring gameplay full of innovations, such as changing the ways of playing according to the powers acquired throughout the level. Furthermore, there is also the possibility of playing with up to four people in the same game, in a cooperative way, each controlling one of the series’ iconic characters, such as Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, among others.

The game will be the first 2D platform in the franchise since New Super Mario Bros. U, which was released in 2012, for the Nintendo Wii U. And since its promotional videos, it has increased the expectations of its fans, especially those who are more nostalgic and tired of living with 3D versions of Mario and co. The game is already on pre-sale for R$299.00.
