GTA 6 is, without a doubt, one of the most anticipated games of recent times — considering that the fifth game in the franchise was released more than 10 years ago, yes, the expectations are huge. In fact, the anxiety is so great that many people have fallen for false rumors about the sequel — and many of them border on the absurd.
Well, let’s go in parts. Earlier this week, even more speculation about GTA 6 appeared on the networks. They claim that the title can have around 400 hours of gameplay, take up 750 GB on the console’s SSD and cost up to US$150 — which, in direct conversion to our currency, would be around R$742. Absurd, isn’t it? same?

A complete adventure with around 400 hours of gameplay is something very difficult to happen, as development could easily exceed any budget and time available. Taking up 750 GB of storage is also something out of the ordinary — anyone who plays on the PS5, for example, would have to upgrade the SSD. Finally, a $150 game is something that a lot of people wouldn’t be able to afford.
Some GTA 6 rumors even make sense…
Of course, at the same time, there are some bets that are more “down to earth”, so to speak. The speculation that GTA 6 may have the biggest map in the franchise so far, for example, it is one of them. After all, this is easier to believe given the launch of Red Dead Redemption IIRockstar’s latest title, which has a vast and robust universe.

In short, social networks are being bombarded with misinformation about the game, since what matters, at the end of the day, are views and clicks. Therefore, do not coldly believe everything you see about GTA 6 around.
What has been officially released about GTA 6 so far
So far, the only thing Rockstar has officially confirmed about GTA 6 is that the sequel is in development. Only.

It is also worth remembering that there was a massive leak of videos of GTA 6 in September last year. At the time, it was possible to see an initial build of the project, which shows a female protagonist, some gameplay mechanics and even information suggesting that the game will be set in Vice City.
Subsequently, Rockstar removed all the videos from circulation and arrested the hacker responsible for the leaks — and the guy only used an Amazon Fire Stick to break into the developer’s system.
Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, which owns Rockstar, made a recent statement suggesting that GTA 6 could be released in 2024. In any case, stay tuned to Voxel to be the first to know when the ad appears!
