Hideo Kojima Not Credited in New Credits for Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.1

Meta Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima is not mentioned in the new credits for the upcoming Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.1

That’s at least according to those who have gained access to early copies of the collection, which reveals that Kojima-san’s name appears on the credits for the individual games included in the bundle. However, Kojima and Solid Snake voice actor David Hayter are not mentioned at all in the wrappers for each title, which include their own credit screens.

The new credits instead thank “all original Metal Gear series staff and fans.”

Konami and Kojima had a major falling out during the production of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain, which resulted in Kojima departing the studio and forming his own, independent branch of Kojima Productions.

As previously reported, the Metal Gear Solid Master Collection Vol.1 comes with a warning to users that some of the content featured in its game may be considered outdated.
