Ned Luke, the actor responsible for the voice of GTA 5 hero Michael De Santa, has advised die-hard Rockstar fans to wait patiently for GTA 6.
Rockstar still doesn’t want to show GTA 6…
The Grand Theft Auto series, also known as GTA, is one of the most popular game series of all time, gaining recognition from fans around the world. The last game in the series, developed by Rockstar Games, was Grand Theft Auto V (GTA 5), which celebrated its 10th anniversary earlier this month. It’s no wonder that after so many years, fans can’t wait for the release of the next installment in the series, GTA 6. Recently, hackers revealed fragments of footage from the early stages of development, confirming that work on the game is in progress. However, Rockstar Games has clearly stated that it will show the game when it is ready for release. Now voice actor Ned Luke, who portrayed Michael de Santa in GTA 5, has shared his thoughts on the upcoming entry.
GTA 5 Voice Actor Addresses Fans Demanding GTA 6 Reveal: ‘Patience’
“10 years have just passed. 10 years since GTA 5… I just want to thank the fans. It’s true that over the years people have often been asked ‘where the hell is GTA 6?’ But be patient. It will pay off. Trust me. GTA 5 was worth the wait, and GTA 6 will be even more worth it.” – said Ned Luke, the voice actor of Michael de Santa from GTA 5. According to rumors, Ned Luke may appear in the next game, and he is not the only GTA 5 hero who will return. Franklin’s voice actor, Shawn Fonteno, is also associated with the title.
GTA 6, however, sets the bar high. Some of the records GTA V holds include the fastest grosser of $1 billion (in just three days) and it is the second best-selling video game in history with 185 million copies sold across platforms. Moreover, it is the fourth highest-rated video game of all time with a score of 97 out of 100 on Metacritic. It is also the best-selling PlayStation 3 game with over 20 million copies sold.
