Mexico and Honduras compete for a spot in the Copa América.

In search of a ticket to the 2024 Copa America, Mexico will face Honduras on the next FIFA Date in November

UNITED STATES — The Mexico national team will face Honduras for the quarterfinals of the Concacaf Nations League that will begin in the month of November.

The Aztec team will face the Catrachos on the next FIFA Date, the last one to be held in 2023. These games are qualifiers for the next Copa América to be held in the summer of 2024 between teams from Concacaf and Conmebol.

The catrachos arrive at this tie as the second worst classified, so they will face Mexico in the next phase.

The first match of the qualifying round will be played on November 16 in Tegucigalpa. The return will be held on November 20 in Mexico, at venues to be confirmed.

The first to qualify for the quarterfinals were Canada, Costa Rica, Mexico and the United States, due to the places they have in the FIFA ranking.

For its part, Trinidad and Tobago will clash against the United States after losing to Curacao. The other keys will be Panama vs Costa Rica and Canada vs Jamaica.

The four winners of the round-trip series of the quarterfinals of League A, that is, the semifinalists of the Nations League, will obtain their ticket to the Copa América. The four losers will compete in a playoff to determine the last two guests.
