A new age classification of GTA 6 has set off all the alarms. This classification adopts the same model as other previous ones in the franchise, such as GTA San Andreas and GTA Vice City, which means that the launch of this new installment of the franchise could be closer than it seems.
The data for this age classification is from April of this year, which means that the development of GTA 6 continues at full speed. The rating it has received is for those over 15 years old, which is the same as those previous deliveries. It’s curious because GTA V received a rating of 18+ by the Australian age ratings entity.
GTA 6 has not yet been officially announced by Rockstar, but the studio has indirectly confirmed it on more than one occasion and they want to achieve perfection with this installment. GTA V was for many the best installment of the franchise, and it became such a good game that it still remains a real money-making machine for Rockstar.
The new installment of the franchise will use an updated version of the RAGE engine. Its graphic quality is expected to be higher than that of Red Dead Redemption 2, which is saying a lot, and it will be an exclusive game for Xbox Series S-Series X, PS5 and PC. It will not reach the previous generation consoles, according to most of the rumors that have appeared previously. The information says that its launch will take place between 2024 and 2025. The requirements for PC should be similar to those of a current demanding triple A game exclusive to PC and the current generation of consoles.
