Just like most Soulslike games, Lords of the Fallen gives players the ability to reset their character builds, which is helpful when you realize that you possibly made initially putting those experience points to work. But not to worry, as Lords of the Fallen gives you the option to set your character build, but there is a catch.
Resetting Lords of the Fallen Character Builds
Once you’ve beaten Pieta, the first boss of the game, you’ll be able to access the hub, Skyrest, and it’s here you’ll be able to do things such as buy items and, for this guide, change your character specs.
To do this, you’ll need to head to Molhu, the creature that can only be seen when you are I’m the Umbral state. He’ll sell you the Rebirth Chrysalis for 8000 vigor. Keep in mind that he only has one to sell, and I haven’t found the means to get another one as of yet, so you’ll only have one chance to reset your character per playthrough.
Once you have the Rebirth Chrysalis, head over to Pieta, and she’ll have the option to “Reset Build.” The item won’t be used up until you fully confirm you want to reset your character build.
This only resets the character builds, so don’t worry about your items being reset to their base forms.
Lords of the Fallen releases on October 13, 2023, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
