The sequel to 2020’s Ghostrunner is is set for release on PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. It is played from a first-person perspective, and puts players in the role of the agile character known as Jack. He can dash, jump, wall-run, and slide to navigate dangerous environments. He can also use a grappling hook for traversal and trigger “Sensory Boost” to slow down time briefly to make mid-air maneuvers easier. A stamina meter determines the frequency of dashing and deflecting attacks.

Jack’s primary weapon is a sword, but he also possesses special abilities to use both during combat and puzzle-solving. One such ability is “Shuriken,” allowing him to throw electrical throwing stars to stun enemies and activate distant switches. Both Jack and his enemies have limited health, making them vulnerable to one-hit kills.
