TAAG Angola Airlines Plans to Introduce New London (Gatwick) Flight, Granting Visa-Free Travel for Tourists from 98 Countries

TAAG Angola Airlines is set to expand its international reach with the launch of a new route connecting Luanda, the capital of Angola, to London’s Gatwick Airport.

Starting from December 14, 2023, this new route will offer travelers an excellent opportunity to explore the vibrant British capital while enjoying the renowned service of TAAG Angola Airlines.

In addition, Angola will be offering visa-free entry to travelers from over 90 countries, aiming to bolster its tourism sector. Under the newly adopted policy, visitors from these 90+ countries will be able to enjoy stays of up to 90 days per year, without the need for a tourist visa.

However, they must adhere to border post requirements, present a valid passport with a duration covering their stay, and provide an international vaccination certificate when necessary. It’s important to note that this visa-free privilege is exclusively for tourists visiting Angola, signifying the country’s commitment to welcoming international visitors.

Among the African nations on the list for visa-free entry are Tanzania, Eswatini, Morocco, Lesotho, Rwanda, Zimbabwe, Equatorial Guinea, Botswana, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Seychelles, Cape Verde, and Algeria. Additionally, South Africans have enjoyed visa-free travel to Angola since December 2017, following an agreement between the two countries.

For travelers from Asia, 11 countries are included in this visa-free policy, encompassing China, Japan, Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, India, Singapore, South Korea, and East Timor.

Europeans will also benefit, with 35 countries, including EU members, Russia, Norway, and Turkey, enjoying visa-free entry to Angola. Notably, countries in the Americas such as the United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina, and Mexico are also on the exemption list.
