Tips for Watching Brie Larson’s New TV Series: Lessons in Chemistry


Brie Larson’s new TV series Lessons in Chemistry is now streaming on Apple TV+.

The eight-part drama series sees the Marvel star take on the role of Elizabeth Zott, whose dream of being a scientist is put on hold when she is unfairly fired from her laboratory.

After accepting a job as the host of a TV cooking show, she uses the opportunity to educate a nation of overlooked housewives on a lot more than recipes.

Unfortunately Apple TV+ is no longer offering free trials in the UK, but you can sign up at the usual cost of £6.99 per month.

If you’re outside the UK, you can currently take advantage of an Apple TV+ seven-day free trialwhich will give you access to the released episodes and all other content on the platform.

Lessons in Chemistry episode release schedule

Lessons in Chemistry has eight episodes in total, with the first two episodes out now after releasing on October 13, 2023. New episodes will be released weekly on Fridays until the finale on November 24.

Lessons in Chemistry is based on the bestselling book of the same name from author and science editor Bonnie Garmus.

Starring alongside Larson are Lewis Pullman (Top Gun: Maverick), Aja Naomi King (How to Get Away with Murder), Stephanie Koenig (The Flight Attendant), Kevin Sussman (The Big Bang Theory), with Patrick Walker (Gaslit), Thomas Mann (Winning Time: The Rise of the Lakers Dynasty), and Beau Bridges (Homeland).

Brie Larson is both starring and an executive producer on the series, which marks her first major TV role outside of a brief Ms Marvel cameo and a short guest stint on Community a decade ago.

Following her role in Fast X earlier this year, Larson will reprise her role as Captain Marvel in The Marvelsand also voice Envy Adams in the new Scott Pilgrim animated series coming to Netflix in November.

Lessons in Chemistry is streaming now on Apple TV+ with new episodes releasing weekly on Fridays.
